The vision for River Valley All Stars (RVAS) started under the Friday Night Lights at a high school football game.  Three varsity cheer coaches, all passionate about cheer, wanted something more.  They wanted to bring their love of cheer to more athletes and the dream of RVAS started.  Weekly meetings, planning, researching, training and developing their dream into River Valley All Stars!  RVAS became reality in June of 2014!

The first few months were spent loading and unloading 3 rolls of cheer carpet into schools for practices for approximately 20 cheerleaders.  After a few months, they saw the passion for cheer spread and considered permanent space options.  In September of 2014, RVAS moved into their current location at 860 Quaker Avenue, Jordan MN and by January 2015, they expanded into the entire building leasing over 4400 square feet.  The passion for cheer was spreading!

What started out as a love of cheer has turned into a love for our athletes! The most memorable moments are not winning trophies, jackets or banners.  Those are great and we are successful on the mat but the greatest and most rewarding moments are the ones in practice or behind the scenes.  When you see the shy girl take the mat and become so alive.  Or the one cheerleader that has struggled for months with a skill and finally gets it.  The pride in those moments are why we do it.  They are not just athletes to us, they become family.  We celebrate their successes, we help push them through their challenges and we help them be the best they can be.  We are more than cheer, we are River Valley All Stars (RVAS).
