Lori Speiss

Lori Speiss created River Valley All Stars from the vision she shared with her daughter, Kayley Speiss and her high school friend Kelly Gindorff. Her introduction to cheerleading was when Lori’s daughter made the High School Varsity Football Cheer Team. Lori saw the dedication and life skills that her daughter was gaining. She ended up coaching her daughter’s senior year of high school and that is how her passion for coaching started. Seeing the positive impact that cheer had on her daughter, she wanted to give that same opportunity to others in her community. She wants to help her athletes see that hard work and determination will allow them the opportunity to achieve greatness.

Kayley Schneider

Kayley Schneider started her cheer career when she was a freshman in high school. She made the Varsity Team and her love of cheer grew from that moment on. She was a Varsity cheerleader for four years and then continued her career in cheer by pursuing a coaching role after High School. Kayley has been a coach at RVAS since its inception in 2014. She is passionate about pushing her athletes to be their best and develops strong bonds with her cheerleaders.

Theresa TJ Mayland

TJ independently trained to become a cheerleader at 18 years old.  She made the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's D1 Cheer and Stunt Team.  Her experience includes 3 years on the team as well as being awarded the Captain Position her 3rd year.  In addition, she competed at NCA Nationals for two years.  She is very excited to grow along with our amazing athletes.

Annie Shurson

Annie was previously the coach of the Jordan Varsity Cheer Team as well as hosted multiple youth clinics and performances throughout the past 3 years.  Annie has a vast knowledge of cheer, dance, and gymnastics.  She has coached/instructed individuals aged toddler to adult in WI, Edina, Plymouth, and Jordan.  She likes to create a fun environment while working hard, providing instruction, growing skills and abilities, rewarding individual and team accomplishments, showcasing individual strengths, and bringing out the best in everyone.
